We Can Help You Self-Publish
Whether you've never published your own works before, or whether you have, we can help you save up to thousands of dollars and come out with a great
product. Guranteed.
We have all the resources, knowledge and experience to make sure you are a success. We are not a "vanity" house, but we can
help you with that, too. We have been in the book publishing and printing business since 1965. We have designed and printed books, brochures, annual reports,
training manuals and more. We produce major works using large printing offset or Web presses,
and we produce books using the latest self-publishing technique: Print On Demand. Today, we can arrange for you to print in China, the U.S., Italy or
Taiwan or South Korea. Our working partners in these countries have proved their value for large and small book sof color, or those with diecut requirements,
hard bound books (caase bound) and special items like packaging, card holders, etc.
We have a long list of quality clients and invite you to check them out. We also have a long list of authors who
have printed with us exclusively. These include Patrick Chelland, Scott Leysath, Donald A. Gazzaniga, Donna Lee Harper, Tony DiMarco, Jamis McNiven, Robert Burkhalter and
many others.
What do we charge for all this? Frankly, not much. When you self-publish you pay for printing of course. If you print quantities over 1500 we charge nothing for our services. We
do have rates/fees for doing layout work, but we think you'll find our quotes lower than anyone else's. We also provide editing help with low
per page rates.
If you want to use the print on demand services we will likely bring your high quality job in at half of what other print on demand houses
are charging. We don't bump up the cost to you four to eight times like others do. We believe you should make an investment with your project and not a make it
a cost. (Investments return profits, costs don't.) Since we perform some services on a daily basis like listing books with R. R. Bowker, Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com under our ISBN
numbers, as well as at Barnes & Noble our fees are minimal. Check with us and let us know exactly what you have in mind. We'll get back with an estimate.
You Market Your Book & You'll Do Very Well
Myth or Reality?
You be the judge.
Many books have been written about self-publishing and how to market your book once you have your finished order in your garage or warehouse. We do understand the
garage concept since that's how we got started in 1965.
Let's be up front here. Publishing was a tightly controlled business — ontrolled by a few companies and people. Today, the big guys are still that way. But
alas, they can't keep a stranglehold on the market with the Internet here to help you. Originally, self-publishing came about because writers
(even Steinbeck and Hemingway were in this group), couldn't get recognized publishers to produce their "new styles" and stories.
What most self-publishers discover however, is that it isn't getting a book printed — heck any printer will print what you pay for — no, the
hang-up is distribution, always distribution, and sometimes lousy writing. Let's face it, if someone can't write readable English or a book in their own tongue, and
can't create a story, then nobody's going to buy it, even if it does get distribution.
So, we're speaking here of material that we have to assume is worth publishing.
What are the easiest self-published books to sell?
1. Cookbooks
2. How To books
3. Travel books
Each of the above rates high in the "easy to sell" category. Now, if you write them to a niche audience, hopefully you're picking a large one. "How To Cut Concrete" won't do as well as "How To Make Money Without Even Trying."
You get the idea.
So, is it a viable solution for you? You have the material, but no publisher will accept it. We think it's more than viable in these days of POD printing.

to make their efforts succesful.
