POD or Print On Demand.

Print on Demand became popular a few years ago mostly for self-publishing authors. Today, it's used by major publishers as well. There are strong indications that major bookstores will offer all titles inside their stores within ten-minutes of you requesting it — even if they don't have it on the shelf when you first look.

We work with Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, and others to help you get your story or book pubished. Once in print your book will be listed with all major bookstores, Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and it will be available for worldwide distribution through Ingram, the world's largest book distributor. All of that effort costs you very little.

There's more to publishing and marketing a book though, than just getting it typeset and printed.

Most authors will tell you that they marketed their first books more than their New York publisher did. Publishers will pour money into a well-known author like Tom Clancy, or David McCullough, etc., but if you're a new author, you can pretty much expect to do all the marketing yourself. So why not self-publish and make more per book than a long-awaited royalty from a publisher?

Marketing entails arranging for radio interviews, getting newspaper bits about you and your book printed, a TV gig here and there, and just plain old door-knocking.

Not all books will sell over the Net simply because they may be presented poorly. But if you work the Net, if you spend some time with it, you will probably sell more books than you ever expected.

With tools like Paypal, Google, Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com, and the world's largest distributor of books, you can get things moving along for a long time.
