eBook or Ink Book?

Who will win the book publishing award pertaining to whether or not the eBook or the ink book will last into the future?

Our guess is that both will survive quite well with the eBook have a short term surge into the lives of those who "love" electronic gadgets like readers, pads, phones, etc.

For sure eBooks will help some like students who can't afford the horrendous costs of textbooks or those who travel a lot but prefer reading over the cacophonic system of movies in airlines.

Remember history, we say. When radio was introduced it was going to do away with the newspaper. Both grew larger. When TV was introduced it was going to do away with radio. Both grew quite well. And when computers were introduced they were gonig to do away with TV. Didn't happen, in fact both grew enormously. Now we have the iPad and all the other pads along with eBook readers such as Kindle, Nook, Kobo, etc and are allegedly going to do away with ink-printed books. History teaches is that that won't happen. However, for a while sales will for eBooks will be huge and have already proven that. eBooks are so large that chain bookstores have developed their own readers and list their eBook downloads in their brick and mortar stores.

Arrowhead Classics has provided eBooks for its books and those we represent or sell for three years now. We started with the Kindle and are now working feverishly to make all our titles available for any e-reader.
